Richard Grieves began his career in 1983 at Paine Webber, where he worked as a financial advisor to high-net-worth individuals. Over the next 25 years, he held advisory and management positions with firms including Alex Brown & Sons, H.C. Wainwright & Co., Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, and Wye Financial & Trust. In 2009, he shifted his focus to managing and investing in innovative private equity ventures. His work has included co-founding Outdoor Income Partners, an outdoor advertising company; co-founding ASAP Walls, a manufacturer of lightweight, modular wall systems that are ballistic, blast, and forced-entry resistant and used in embassies, safe rooms, and blast-containment facilities; and co-founding Nox Technologies, a biotech firm dedicated to cancer and skin care research. A 1983 graduate of Washington College, he also served on the Board of Visitors and Governors. He has been actively involved in his community, volunteering his time on the boards of several nonprofit organizations, including The Radcliffe Creek School, the YMCA of Talbot County, Talbot Special Riders, and the Talbot Lacrosse Association.
