    With more than 30 years of Mergers and Acquisitions experience, he has been lead counsel on more than 75 public and private M&A transactions, with values in excess of five billion dollars, over a broad range of industries, including software services, internet retailers, airlines, biotech, financial services, and satellite services.

    During his large law firm days, he ran numerous complex mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions with and for a number of Fortune 100 companies and private equity clients worldwide. These M&A and financing transactions included firms such as GE Capital, Continental Airlines, Texas Pacific Group, AOL, AOL Latin America, Alloy, Inc., CSX/RockResorts® and Nations Bank. He became the consummate deal lawyer, bringing to the table an ability to negotiate business-critical deals with efficiency and skill. While a partner at Arnold and Porter, he became the lead counsel for Varidyne, the company that Kanstoroom founded and operated until his retirement in 2003.

    He is also experienced with public and private securities offerings, including IPOs. He was lead counsel on numerous Reg D offerings, PIPE transactions, registered follow-on equity offerings, 144A debt offerings and Reg S offshore equity and debt offerings and public-company spinoff and related public rights offerings.
