Joseph A. Aiken has spent over 25 years in public accounting with a focus on accounting and financial reporting, valuations for startup businesses and litigation purposes, and all areas of taxation. He is the senior partner in his firm of over 20 team members and plays a key leadership role in the strategic and long-term vision of the firm. He specializes in working with high-net-worth and high-profile individuals, particularly those with alternative investments, sophisticated portfolios, and complex tax positions. His expertise includes structuring and advising on intricate corporate and partnership arrangements, as well as tax planning strategies for unique and often exotic transactions. He advises both pre-revenue and post-revenue clients on matters of valuation for raising capital and exit strategies. Joseph holds a master’s degree in accounting from George Mason University and is a licensed CPA in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Joe has been accepted as an expert witness in Fairfax County and Loudoun County in areas of valuation, accounting, and taxation.
